Wrestling Training That Works: Jim's Wrestlers Are Winning Twice As Much In Only Two Months... |
|
| |
There has been quite a lot of buzz over
the past few months about this wrestling training program but up until a few days ago
we hadn't received any conclusive
results. However, it turns out this
really is one those programs that work well
as one of our network members
reported his students are winning twice as many matches in only two months!
Steve Preston's wrestling training is based on a wrestling conditioning system that is geared for a wrestlers body that most coaches totally ignore. Middle school kids must train differently than high school youths, and the same applies to college students.
However, even though the training program
states you can easily win up to twice as many matches in only two months, it has been reported that this wrestling training does not let you sit on the couch all day. As with any endeavor on the human body, it takes work...in the gym and inthe kitchen. You will still win
plenty of matches in the process if you deviate a little bit.

Of course, as with anything out there, it's
not totally perfect,
but
compared to many programs that we've
seen whist looking for diets and workouts that
work for everyday people,
it does seem effective and the
feedback so far has been great.
Do we recommend you try it? Yes.
Ignore the fact that the website
looks a bit small. We now have proof
that this does work and

Kids Wrestling Training |
| |
|
It's exciting to be a part of kids training at a sport. You never know when you might be working with a real world class athlete in the making. This goes especially for kids wrestling. |
|
| |
|
Wrestling is a tough sport, and it's hard to imagine little kids doing those tough moves as they writhe on the mat, one trying to pin the other. But kids wrestling training is a great way to teach children discipline, camaraderie, it will get them in shape and they'll probably have a blast doing it.
The toughest part about kids wrestling training is keeping the kids focused. Everyone knows that children have absolutely no attention span. If you don't keep them entertained, they're going to start doing their own thing, or acting out, and soon you have a gym full of screaming kids. This is where the discipline comes in. The coach must be tough on the kids. Parents watching a coach scream at their child is often a very jarring thing to watch, but it's necessary to teach that child discipline. You bet that kid isn't going to talk back or whine after that tongue lashing. It's also not uncommon for a coach to make the kids do laps, or pushups, or some other insane exercise as punishment for not doing what they're told. This builds character, and it's good for the kids.
Teaching Technique
Another hard part about teaching kids wrestling is getting them to do the technique correctly. Wrestling moves are very technical, and if they're not done correctly, the opponent will have the upper hand; and someone could even get hurt. A good coach will teach kids wrestling in a language they can understand. Keeping things simple makes it seem easy for them, and soon they'll have the technique down pat. In fact, it's best to start as a kid because if you can master technique as a child, imagine the powerhouse you'll be as a teenager.
Firm But Gentle
You can learn all the technique in the world, but the moment you start wrestling your mind starts going a million miles a minute. The opponent's on top of you, you can't breathe and you can't imagine a way out of this hold he has you in. That's wrestling, and it can get very brutal. But kids wrestling isn't as tough as, say, two high school seniors going at it. The kids must be taught to wrestle, but they must also learn to be gentle. They are kids, after all. Their bones are still developing and they're brittle. So make sure they learn to go hard, but not too hard.
Kids wrestling training is a great way to train a kid discipline, as well as how to defend himself. Plus it's a lot of fun. Winning isn't the only part of it. There's a lot more to it. A kid who's been through wrestling training clearly stands apart from a kid who has never stepped foot on a mat. There's a confidence in his step, in his look, and in his mind as he knows that he's been through something that not many people can take; and he did it as a kid.

| Basic Youth Wrestling Training |
| |
|
Now more than ever, it is beneficial for young people to become involved in youth wresting programs. |
|
| |
|
The reasons for this are quite varied as wrestling training opens the doors to everything from a college sports scholarship to a potential career in mixed martial arts fighting. Far too often, however, kids try to become involved in wrestling for the first time in High School. While there is certainly nothing wrong with this approach, it would be much more beneficial to start wrestling training at as young an age as possible.
When wresting training is started early, the ability to gain a lot of experience prior to the High School years will allow for greater performance during the High School years. This then opens the door for even greater potential success when the time comes to further a wrestling career on the college level. Consider these components to be among the most helpful aspects of youth wrestling programs.
The actual course of study in wrestling training programs for youngsters will most definitely be a foundation in the basics. Flashy moves designed to appeal to hobbyists will not be found in serious sport training programs since such techniques generally do not yield the best results in terms of procuring skill enhancement. So, what type of material is taught in these programs? In general, the following would be the most common material:
Pins and Pin Defense: The ability to win or lose is wrestling match will always be whether or not you pin or are pinned by your opponents. Developing skill in these areas is vital for success.
Takedowns: Of course, you cannot pin an opponent unless you can take the opponent down. That is why the basics of takedowns will be the epicenter of any solid wrestling training program. The various takedowns that will be covered are single legs, double legs, hip throws, fireman's carry, and various other ways of getting an opponent to the mat. Wrestling matches can be won on points and takedowns are among the best way to get points.
The Clinch: The ability to control an opponent in the close quarters clinch is often the linchpin that can lead to success in a wrestling match. The clinch is often used to set up takedowns and can also be employed as a strong defensive posture out that can prevent takedowns. Those looking to enhance their skills and abilities in the clinch will end up being quite dominant in wrestling bouts.
Strength and Conditioning: Physical conditioning will often be the main determining factors as to whether or not a win in a wrestling bout is possible. That is why wrestling training will often cover various ways of improving physical conditioning.
Ultimately, entering a child in a youth wrestling program can set the stage for great achievements in the sport. That is why looking into a helpful program that can deliver solid foundations in the basics are so recommended. They are vital to future success
